Haiti Children Shelter, run by a family friend Sister Eileen, who cares for 80 children. Sister Eileen is our saint .

The Friends of Burkina Faso "Lamb's Project". This is an educational program for young girls in Burkina Faso, a country in Africa. Thanks very much to Suzanne Plopper for connecting the girls to this group in Africa, and for her work there!

The Nature Conservancy. The Nature Conservancy is a leading conservation organization working around the world to protect ecologically important lands and waters for nature and people.

The Davis Art Center. A local Davis organization offering opportunities to explore the arts for children and adults.

The Wildlife Trust. The Wildlife Trust works to save threatened species from extinction, protect habitat, and link nature protection with health through collaborative projects with local scientists.

The Pink Ribbons Project, dancers in motion against breast cancer, is the first dance organization created to promote awareness about breast cancer and to help raise money for breast cancer advocacy, education and research.

The Slate Foundation: The Slate Foundation is a non-profit non-partisan organization committed to supporting educational and informational activities, as well as, scientific research aimed at increasing awareness of endangered animals.

The World Wildlife Fund: From the Amazon to the Arctic, WWF is building a future where human needs are met in harmony with nature. WWF works toward conserving the largest tropical rain forests, the most diverse coral reefs, and the world’s most endangered species. Rachel adopted a polar bear, Sara adopted a walrus.

TB Friends: This thoroughbred horse rescue, located in Woodland, CA, is run by Joe and Cathy Shelton. They care for about 200 horses who have no where else to go, many come from Bay Area race tracks. As soon as a horse is adopted into a new home, Joe can say "yes" to another horse in need.

The Folsom Zoo Sanctuary: Since 1963, this small unique California zoo has been providing sanctuary to some very special animals. All are non-releasable. Many were raised, and rejected, as wild pets. Others were injured or orphaned in the wild. Most are native to North America.
